AI what the actual crappity crap???? | Book Blogger Blurbs

The AI generated pieces is how I used to write in school and college. Now, whatever I write seems AI generated, so I end up using AI to write the things for me.

All the language skills mastered over years wasted only to be labeled as AI. Having to delete advanced vocabulary to sound human is a painful thing to do. Also, emphasis on important things is lost in using common vocabulary.

Continuing the above, what if I use AI to write about how AI is destroying our use of advanced vocabulary?

🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯

I have come across few channels which tell how to create a faceless YouTube channel or an automated blog where you can create multiple videos or write-ups within few minutes with AI and you have days worth of posting content just with a few prompts. Mind you, I tried these personally. But the conclusion that I have arrived at is that the content in these videos and posts is already out there on internet. There is nothing new or no value addition done. What's the point of these videos and posts then? While watching the tutorial videos of these kinds of videos/posts, it seems easy money. And there are automated YouTube channels with millions of views and subscribers. AI these days can write, create an image/video, and also create music (imagine calling yourself a fan of a certain AI website in a manner similar to being a fan of say AR Rehman). AI even writes lyrics for you!

Recently I came across a post on LinkedIn where this person (I think the owner of LinkedIn himself) wrote a simple prompt to generate a replica of LinkedIn platform. Within seconds he had the code to create a platform like LinkedIn. Imagine spending years and years of hard work only to be copied within seconds.

AI AI AI. The amount of times I hear and read on a daily basis is taking my brain out. Although no doubt I too use it frequently for personal and office work.

Recently in an office meeting, I had one attendee add an AI tool to summarize the meeting and create minutes of meeting for him. Now as useful as it is, the results were not 100% accurate. It recorded actionable on my part instead of his part by misinterpreting the conversation. Apart from this, my concern was privacy of data and confidentiality concerns. Most of the workplaces that I'm aware of have blocked all kinds of AI to avoid leakage of any confidential data. This person was a client of mine where AI isn't blocked. However, the discussion of the meeting is confidential data which could end up on the internet for public use, breaching confidentiality.

I also happened to read The Origin by Dan Brown. One of the main characters in the book is AI. I'll write about it minimally so as not to spoil the plot. However, this book really made me concerned about the powers of AI if decision making is left to it. The dystopian impact of this technology is alarming and limits are not defined. There's hardly anyone out there I feel who is monitoring it. It feels like a scene from the Loki series where multiple branches are being formed so fast that no one is able to control. The chaos that ensues is horrible.

The app on which I'm noting this piece down also has a new AI feature and bugging me to update the app to use it. There's no escape to AI and hope there's no apocalypse.

Wanna low-key join 5 star chocolate's Make AI Mediocre Again campaign 😂

Moving in life

Moving in life From Unsplash : @fuuj You're moving. You're not still. It's just that your pace is different than others. It feels everyone's moving in their life except you. Maybe, no. It's like you're in one train & others are in the other train. When you're in a moving train & another train at faster speed passes by, it feels as if your train isn't moving at all & other one's moving. But that's not true. Your train's moving too but at a pace different than the other . It's also not that you're moving at a slow pace. You are on your time. You'll reach your own destination at your own time. The other train may have a different destination & a different reaching time. Both are in their own tracks. No one's slow or fast. Just on a different track with different destination & reaching time.  From Unsplash :  @amosbarzeev What are your thoughts on this?  Comment below! Or just reply wherever you found this blog...
