Fancy world of Online Education . . . | Book Blogger Blurbs

Online education has become such a mess that everything seems so complicated. The simplicity of Khan Academy can never be seen in any other. Commercialization of any social objective makes it bleh. What in the world is two teachers classroom? Like what? First of all, it's tuitions. That means it's already secondary after school teachers. This implies school teachers are incapable of teaching. Not that the child needs a little extra help. So why are we paying the schools then? Online schooling during the pandemic has just made it worse.

The kid who has already lost opportunity to venture out in open nature is now tied more to the screen than ever killing all their outdoor activities. Education is must, agreed, but it's literally not the only way to make career. Even if the child is interested in studies doesn't give parents any right to restrict all their outdoor activities and make them already a victim of capitalism that they themselves are feeding. Non-curricular activities add to creativity of children. It's the basis for innovation. Living by defined rules has never invented or discovered anything new. Social & personal interaction are equally important for child's overall growth. Does this compromise promise the child a secure financial future? Parents themselves despite being educated know that their jobs are not secure. Then why ruin childhood for something that's not secure?

Parents don't seem to have time to take their children outdoor. This is a dual loss of health & money. Oh, I forgot paying to doctors too for poor health.

Ahhhhhhh my head hurts with all the online lectures . . . . . + Dry eyes and insomnia.

On another note, what if the educational resources are made free? Will these corporates survive? The thing that good teachers promote is: self-reliance, self-learning. If these are inculcated in children at a young age and parents are made aware that their kids can do well without these expensive tuitions and less amount of time(i.e. productivity), these corporates will start loosing.

About time to change children's and parents' way of thinking. Children can learn on their own or maybe a little help if they're taught to 'think' instead of lame memorization (ratta maar) that goes on in the country on which big classes and now corporates(pretentious unicorn start-ups) capitalize.
